Sorry that your February edition of the newsletter has been a little late this month in reaching you, but your editor has been busy with several projects on the go. He also did a quick trip to the Emerald Isles and before he knew it February 1st came and went.
Valentines Day evening is fully booked and we are sorry for all those who couldn’t get in. Still places for the Sausage Night (see menu below) so ring now and book your table.
Be sure to read our menu for The Fish Evening With Wine. This is going to be a fantastic night with all locally caught fish, so why wait, email or ring and reserve your table now.

TASTE OF KENT AWARDS 2008The shortlist of restaurant of the Year has been announced. Unfortunately we didn’t make the final 3 this year, first time in 4 years. The finalist this year are: Michael Caines at The Abode Canterbury. Richard Philips at Chapel Down, Tenterden, The Mulberry Tree, Boughton Monchelsea.
However, 3 of our butcher suppliers, are in the finals for Butcher Of The Year. Barkaways, Brogdale and Godmersham Game. We wish them all the very best of luck.

Brian’s latest play will have its premier at The Arden Theatre, Faversham Starting Thursday 19th March, it finishes with a Last Night Performance on Saturday 21st with an individual finger buffet.
